Chemical processing
voestalpine Böhler Welding offers the most suitable welding consumables for chemical processing plants, with a wide range of products for high temperature corrosion resistant and wet corrosion resistant alloys. For high temperature applications, to mention a few examples, welding solutions are available for alloys such as Alloy 600H, 800H or 617 which are typically used in pyrolysis, thermal cracking and dehydrogenation. For highly demanding wet corrosion requirements in the presence of chlorides and other highly corrosive media, the full range of nickel-base alloys from Alloy 625 till sophisticated C-alloys as Alloy 59 or C22, are covered by welding consumables which are fully tested with all relevant corrosion testing methods required by the industry. voestalpine Böhler Welding also provides high quality solutions for the welding of duplex and lean duplex stainless steel with all welding processes, as well as specific solutions for special austenitic and super austenitic steels.
